No Matter What

 It was a beautiful scenic drive. A weekend at the cabin with the family. Kendall and Ging..you were greatly missed. Lauren doing the entertaining for the moment!   wintery decor  Not sure who loves who more....all I know is we are best of friends  just relaxing...doin nothing Kids will be kids Men will be men....nothing was ever killed!  lol...shots fired. trees blown. it's how they roll   Ice formations on the pond     it was a tad cold...as you can see...Myles looks a tad depressed!   Ellie and one of the crafts we made with the kids...had to do something!   ...and yet another one! Aren't they a cute bunch!

    She's a  loner. Church is her social life. She stays home most of the time. Her sons are all she got! She hasn't talked to her siblings in probably eight years...in fact one didn't want to be found when his father died and he needed to be notified!     She had a child out of wedlock. She married a next man. Her husband's family didn't accept that. Attending church? His is too conservative...he don't like hers. 20+ years later of marriage and nothing has been reached.     She married the man she lived with for 6+ years. After a year of marriage, he walked out. Leaving on his daughter's 7th birthday! Her parents and siblings have degrees in everything. That should make life perfect right?     She lives with her Mennonite grandmother. Her father left the conservative church as soon as he could. "They don't allow this and this and this." Her step kids from the city think the grandmother is Amish. It's how I feel. STUCK. *sometimes... on good days..I stick my head out*...like that. Today was one of those days. It's early morning gym when work is finished or brave the boisterous wind. Today I did both! If you feel to join me in either endeavor..please do..I would LOVE a workout partner!   Have you not heard? BAhAHah..ok I shouldn't be so wicked.  buying.baby.clothes.=fun I.got.kids.all.over! some unborn as yet! Shopping these days and trying to save money is a joke. Well not till I realized I can buy kids biggest size clothes for half the price of adult S. .#check YES!!! Online buying is another story. You would think something you bought less than a year ago would still fit, same size. sigh. Oh well..maybe some day I will grow into it. lol.  Bring out the bathing suits....summer is coming. Oh wait..I mean GRENADA!

I hear this song daily. It is so how I feel time and time again...the first lines stick in my brain. "Sometimes all we have to hold onto is what we know is true of who YOU are..... YOU ARE GOD. YOU ARE GOOD." I'm thankful I have that "something" to hold onto. Life isn't always easy but God is faithful. He will not change.  I found this quote and I loved it. How real it is to feel to run. Get out of the storm and find my "own" solution. That storm may seem huge at the time but the storm without him is far greater. My prayer is to wage those storms. To conquer with all I got. Determination was not given without a cause. God knew I would need it and believe me I DO!   It's these little things and people in life that make me smile!
