Philadelphia Phun

I like to think I know cities...Reading, NY...but Philly..nah! I left my dear sis-in-law for that one. 
Today is a dear person's birthday-My mother. So in celebration we planned a day in the city shopping and then eating out. I was not disappointed but really missed Kathy and Ginger. Hopefully this summer we can all do something together for the first time in years!

    Oh, I'm pretty jealous. It looks like you wore your Mom out till the end. Be thankful for your sister. Some of us have none!

..here it is. It's hot, dry, and breezy. The month is almost halfway gone already. sigh. It's hard to believe it's been one whole year already that I've been married to this wonderful man. He truly is so extremely good for me. Marriage is a wonderful thing. It's good to have the first year behind us though. We look forward to many more! February 7 is Independence Day. The churches had a picnic and cooked the national dish. Kyla...or little Cindy as I call her. oil down...it was deliciously made by Sammy. A few wore their Independence colors!  Sailing festival was also held the other weekend on the beach. I was wishing so badly I had remembered my camera but alas phone pictures had to work! Grenada at a glance

We are back from Grenada well over a month...more like six weeks and I just now realized I never blogged about it. So here goes. It will be mostly pictures cuz I ain't got any more time then I had the last 6 weeks. Oh where does time go? He slept all but the last hour or so. The beach makes tired and grumpy babies!
