Memorial Day

Family cabin time is always Memorial Day weekend. It was a good weekend but on the cold side. Lots of work was done and good food was eaten. After a long day of cutting wood and digging fence holes, Bucket and I went on a 7 mile bike ride. We went around the block the wrong way and had uphill most of the way. OOPS!

It was a good weekend. now for a short week with today as a holiday and no work. I love when weeks go fast..but I am so ready for SUN!!!!

..here it is. It's hot, dry, and breezy. The month is almost halfway gone already. sigh. It's hard to believe it's been one whole year already that I've been married to this wonderful man. He truly is so extremely good for me. Marriage is a wonderful thing. It's good to have the first year behind us though. We look forward to many more! February 7 is Independence Day. The churches had a picnic and cooked the national dish. Kyla...or little Cindy as I call her. oil down...it was deliciously made by Sammy. A few wore their Independence colors!  Sailing festival was also held the other weekend on the beach. I was wishing so badly I had remembered my camera but alas phone pictures had to work! Grenada at a glance

We are back from Grenada well over a month...more like six weeks and I just now realized I never blogged about it. So here goes. It will be mostly pictures cuz I ain't got any more time then I had the last 6 weeks. Oh where does time go? He slept all but the last hour or so. The beach makes tired and grumpy babies!
