Friends from Away

Morning time came to pick up these lovely people. I'm not sure if it was due to the excitement or lack of patience in traffic but this trip to JFK seemed to take forever. Hunger , a much needed potty break and traffic jams contributed to my lack of patience quite a bit. Upon arrival and meeting these people it was worth it. So so good to have them here.

No time was wasted. I was quite ok giving my boots a rest and catching up with Brenda!

He is so much fun. It was wonderful to have them around for a week. It will be good to have them back again in a few more.

..here it is. It's hot, dry, and breezy. The month is almost halfway gone already. sigh. It's hard to believe it's been one whole year already that I've been married to this wonderful man. He truly is so extremely good for me. Marriage is a wonderful thing. It's good to have the first year behind us though. We look forward to many more! February 7 is Independence Day. The churches had a picnic and cooked the national dish. Kyla...or little Cindy as I call her. oil down...it was deliciously made by Sammy. A few wore their Independence colors!  Sailing festival was also held the other weekend on the beach. I was wishing so badly I had remembered my camera but alas phone pictures had to work! Grenada at a glance

We are back from Grenada well over a month...more like six weeks and I just now realized I never blogged about it. So here goes. It will be mostly pictures cuz I ain't got any more time then I had the last 6 weeks. Oh where does time go? He slept all but the last hour or so. The beach makes tired and grumpy babies!
