Short and Sweet

We've been gone a lot these past few days/weeks. Bill and Brenda are leaving the island real soon so it meant some good times with friends before that!

 Then there was the night we babysat Kendall and Chris's kids. They can entertain themselves as you can see and our tiny house accommodated nine kids pretty well :)



 ...there's just something about twins...and these two are just pretty awesome!

Katrina had us for a wonderful meal, followed by many games of dominoes.


A beautiful day on the beach for me....and a fishing day for some others.


 Today is a holiday. The men got the tent all set up for my mother-in-laws wedding on Saturday.

...and visitors from away who came for the wedding.

 This little man loves to watch the planes. We hiked out to the end of the runway with him and watched the biggest plane land that comes into Grenada.

..here it is. It's hot, dry, and breezy. The month is almost halfway gone already. sigh. It's hard to believe it's been one whole year already that I've been married to this wonderful man. He truly is so extremely good for me. Marriage is a wonderful thing. It's good to have the first year behind us though. We look forward to many more! February 7 is Independence Day. The churches had a picnic and cooked the national dish. Kyla...or little Cindy as I call her. oil down...it was deliciously made by Sammy. A few wore their Independence colors!  Sailing festival was also held the other weekend on the beach. I was wishing so badly I had remembered my camera but alas phone pictures had to work! Grenada at a glance

We are back from Grenada well over a month...more like six weeks and I just now realized I never blogged about it. So here goes. It will be mostly pictures cuz I ain't got any more time then I had the last 6 weeks. Oh where does time go? He slept all but the last hour or so. The beach makes tired and grumpy babies!
