Christmas and Boxing Day

Christmas Day was spent by my in-laws. Thaddeus went to the work of setting up a tarp above our heads for rain and sun.


There was enough food for another 15 people. It was all very delicious of course.



Chris and Katrina were there as well. It was lovely to spend the day with "family" to distract from the family things stateside.

There was plenty of game playing.


I was the score keeper for Phase 10.

Some cute children anticipating cake and ice cream. I must say it was a pinterest success!

Boxing Day follows Christmas so it was a day of more food with church people on Calliste Bay


With the water so close....you know the rest of the story. Soaking wet children.

..here it is. It's hot, dry, and breezy. The month is almost halfway gone already. sigh. It's hard to believe it's been one whole year already that I've been married to this wonderful man. He truly is so extremely good for me. Marriage is a wonderful thing. It's good to have the first year behind us though. We look forward to many more! February 7 is Independence Day. The churches had a picnic and cooked the national dish. Kyla...or little Cindy as I call her. oil down...it was deliciously made by Sammy. A few wore their Independence colors!  Sailing festival was also held the other weekend on the beach. I was wishing so badly I had remembered my camera but alas phone pictures had to work! Grenada at a glance

We are back from Grenada well over a month...more like six weeks and I just now realized I never blogged about it. So here goes. It will be mostly pictures cuz I ain't got any more time then I had the last 6 weeks. Oh where does time go? He slept all but the last hour or so. The beach makes tired and grumpy babies!
