It was one of those days that needed a good ending. With quality time spent out for supper at True Blue, worries are kissed good bye. As you can see by the rest of this blog quite a few photos were taken. Yes..we enjoy that very much. Here are a few... of course it started with some amazing food. That pumpkin soup was mines! It was even better yet than it looked!  Beautiful sisters  There were so many nice amazing gates. This homeowner wasn't too sure about us!  I believe they fail to read signs possibly...oh well!   So we toured a resort...I will stay there some night! It was very hard to remember I was in Grenada!

Here today...gone tomorrow

Only a few things are necessary these days  in the blue house.... Yeah this is #1 and....#2 Granola We will eat this breakfast, lunch, supper and snack. ....All in a day...I got flowers... ...and this was found in a book cover.. Do you think she likes Nigel by any chance. After the fourth "I love Nigel" was added "in rele life." Hmmm guess this teacher should be doing some investigating into secret love affairs maybe. But if I was one of my students I would love him too! ...and Dove chocolates are in abundance as well. I enjoy the sayings more than the chocolate. Oh well.

Cute much?? IF

Yeah I will claim him as my godchild. I love him to death...who couldn't after all? I know I am biased but seriously he is really cute! As he was by our house I had to think again of his future...or the lack thereof! Where will life take him? For this child I pray....and that is the most I can do!

Making Disciples of ALL nations

Image
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit...and teaching them t o obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.  Matt. 28:19-20 This morning we had a baptism. It was a time of reflecting back on my own life and just recommitting myself to all that it requires of me. Committing to serve God the rest of my life. What does that really mean? Am I willing to count the cost for Christ no matter what it costs or where it takes me? No matter how many years it has been since baptism the decision is still the same. I want to follow God with all I have, completely surrendered to him. Pastor John and Miss Rachel sharing out the pot of pilau. It was amazing! Thaddeus enjoying the food after his baptism The photographers for quite a few of these pictures! Yeah if you get us going we don't stop! I am going to miss her so much. Co...

Peace

Image
Peace: It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart. Oh my heart would love to get to that place. To really get there. Not just tell itself that it is there. To trust the struggles that we face each day. It is hard to trust a struggle and realize that yes...something good can come out of it whether it is that student that is finding myriads of things to play with in their desk or the child that is pelting things on the roof and giving unnecessary talk when all I want is...PEACE! The only peace I can find is that peace that Christ can give...and because of that I can share it with others. Worksheets are always more fun at the table Yeah...it was a rainy/hoodie sort of day! And then there is always Jr. Youth Night. I must say I almost enjoy it more than Sr. Youth Night. The kids are always full of energy and love playing pretty much any game imaginable. With t...

Standing on the Rock

Image
Through my disappointment, strife and discontentment, I cast my every care upon the Lord. No matter what obsession, pain or deep depression, I’m standing on the Solid Rock. I’m standing on the Rock of Ages; Safe from every storms that rages; I'm rich but not from Satan’s wages; I’m standing on the Solid Rock .  Celina and I taking a water break...and picture I guess While the rest of the church sang at the General Hospital, I hung out with the little kids that were not old enough to go inside. As soon as we reach they started singing the song above. We sang it this morning in church but it was a good start for the afternoon as well. Most of our time was spent running up and down these rocks in attempts to get away from the person for it! Catchers was the game....I came away with juckers in my feet and sore spots on the bottom. My feet maybe too old for such rock climbing? lol.  Following the singing we went to Fort Jeudy. This is one of my favorite point...
