Vegetation


We learned about plants in science and so we followed the experiment in the book and plated some seeds upon cotton. Surprisingly it worked....They grew in no time and are now transplanted into the garden.



The pumpkin is always bigger on the the other side of the fence..unfortunately...I guess it doesn't belong to us.

the rest of the vine appears to think it owns our property but of course no fruit grows upon that part!!! UGH!

The results of the fruit of the land. Some amazing banana bread...enough plums to feast on till plump, and mangoes sweet as can be...mmmhmm!

..here it is. It's hot, dry, and breezy. The month is almost halfway gone already. sigh. It's hard to believe it's been one whole year already that I've been married to this wonderful man. He truly is so extremely good for me. Marriage is a wonderful thing. It's good to have the first year behind us though. We look forward to many more! February 7 is Independence Day. The churches had a picnic and cooked the national dish. Kyla...or little Cindy as I call her. oil down...it was deliciously made by Sammy. A few wore their Independence colors!  Sailing festival was also held the other weekend on the beach. I was wishing so badly I had remembered my camera but alas phone pictures had to work! Grenada at a glance

We are back from Grenada well over a month...more like six weeks and I just now realized I never blogged about it. So here goes. It will be mostly pictures cuz I ain't got any more time then I had the last 6 weeks. Oh where does time go? He slept all but the last hour or so. The beach makes tired and grumpy babies!
