winter week

This blog pretty much sums up my past week. 
it.snowed....of course when I wanted to drive to JFK to
pick up someone very special,
who loves the snow as much as me..haha!

I had free tickets to Sight and Sound. It was an amazing presentation and I totally recommend it.

this poor chick had some neck problems...I could identify...just my neck was going forward in a sleep the entire time I there working! lol

..here it is. It's hot, dry, and breezy. The month is almost halfway gone already. sigh. It's hard to believe it's been one whole year already that I've been married to this wonderful man. He truly is so extremely good for me. Marriage is a wonderful thing. It's good to have the first year behind us though. We look forward to many more! February 7 is Independence Day. The churches had a picnic and cooked the national dish. Kyla...or little Cindy as I call her. oil down...it was deliciously made by Sammy. A few wore their Independence colors!  Sailing festival was also held the other weekend on the beach. I was wishing so badly I had remembered my camera but alas phone pictures had to work! Sports Day is coming up for most schools. I went to Wesley College Sports day on Wednesday. It was good to see how secondary schools do it! I went in support of Alana's son Joshim. of police and goodbyes

It was the night before some people departed the states to the wonderful Isle of Spice. Who wouldn't stay out late? Well...I would..and I did. The regrets came in the morning with only 2 hours of sleep and off to work at an unearthly hour. I work when I can...even if it is only a few hours. I felt like I had to keep redoing things...my brain was malfunctioning. Coffee was needed but I didn't want to be the reason for potty breaks on the way to the airport...thus I refrained. I left work in my own little world oblivious to a police officer sitting nearby. I believe he was sleeping as well..much to my benefit. With suitcases packed on that Ford truck we began to "RUN IT"...traffic moves well most days. I try to keep with traffic. They can usually break radar for you. The SUV lost me when it got to about 25 over the speed limit. It was a good thing! There was enough of a gap between us that officer had his nose out in traffic as I tried to quickly change lanes.
